This profile provides an overview of observed and projected climate trends across Gedaref, Sennar and Blue Nile states for the near term (2020–39), medium term (2040–59) and long term (2060–79), under higher emissions (SSP3-7.0) and lower emissions (SSP1-2.6) scenarios, and examines their impacts across ecosystems, human health, livelihoods and displacement.
