PANEL III: Scanning the horizon for cascading and non-linear climate risks to Europe's security

Immediate security concerns may distract us from the looming climate crisis. It presents major risks not only in the form of extreme weather events but also indirectly through migratory pressures, broken food supply chains or even by undermining macroeconomic stability. It is characteristic of these impacts that they are cascading and/or non-linear. How well acquainted are we in Czechia and Europe with climate risks and what strategies do different sectors take to enhance preparedness?
